On November 25th, 2013, the <link http: www.iuk-tag-nrw.de>4th Day of Information and Communication Economy NRW is taking place at <link http: www.hnf.de>the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum. This year’s slogan is "Best Visions. Best Innovations. Best Solutions: Industrie 4.0 NRW". Dr. Thomas Bierhoff of C-LAB will be making a speech on the topic of "RTTF Real Time Traffic Forecast – A way to a traffic jam free city".
Real Time Traffic Forecast was a joint innovation project of Atos C-LAB, VMZ Berlin, and Siemens CT. The goal was to enable a proactive traffic management using predictively and in real time determined traffic data. The solution reaches an accuracy of more than 80% of the predictions being correct. With this, a yet unknown degree of accuracy was achieved.
