VirtoWeb - Virtual Forms of Organisation for Knowledge Based Processes in BioTech

VirtoWeb develops requirements of the biotechnology sector for virtualizing the sector’s cooperative relationships with further highly specialized associates of this sector. In doing so the focus of the research efforts lies on the efficient and flexible process design and as a consequence thereof on the minimization of transfer-generated frictional losses. Well-defined processes of cooperation and their support of an appropriate cooperation platform are to be the concrete results of this project. In addition general procedures as well as activity suggestions will be developed.
The vision of the project is to provide the cooperations of the sector with a clearly improved basis of interaction which enables prompt reactions to market opportunities that could only have been taken in a poor way or not at all without intercompany cooperation. In this way a contribution to sustainment and improvement of competitiveness shall be made especially for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Moreover a direct transfer into the partner project InVirto will take place.
