To increase productivity with a system model in microelectronics the consistent application of re-usable components (IP: Inell. Prop.) is indespensable.
The project IPQ starts with IP-Qualification at a point where substantial problems with the implementation of IP based designing methods are incurred. Methods and tools developed in the IPQ project are to enable them to obtain crucial improvements for the quality assurance with application and development of IP modules. This contains specification methods, intelligent IP search, input check, procedure for IP adjustment and contributions for standardisation.
